The next book, (unless I get fed up with it) is going to be set in the seventeenth century--1688, to be precise.  The protagonist will be Faith Overton, who is a minor character (in both senses of 'minor') in my second Civil War novel.  Her family are known to have moved to the Netherlands, which means I get to research the Dutch Golden Age.

It is presently going very slowly.  I am still much taken-up with childminding duties.  I love my little grandson dearly, but I still have no inclination to write about trains.
