Wolf Hunt is a departure for me, as it's set in the middle ages, not classical antiquity. It's based on a werewolf story by a twelfth century woman writer. I've now decided that the heroine marries the wrong man, but I think it still works.

My Arthurian trilogy (Hawk of May, Kingdom of Summer, and In Winter's Shadow) are the first books I had published.  I was only seventeen when I finished the first draft of the first one.  A few years later it won an award in manuscript and launched my career.

I suppose these books are the most successful things I've ever done, which is sad, in a way.  One likes to think that one is learning something.  I have great affection for the books, however, and I'm delighted that they're being reissued by Sourcebooks.
